TABSCon Moves in March 2013

Starting in 2013, TABSCon is moving to a new location - the Royal Canadian Legion Hall (Branch 11) which is located at 9 Dawes Rd. - just east of the Danforth and Main St. intersection. This event will be held in the main hall (at street level) as you enter the Legion.

TABS is pleased to announce the TABSCon XXXIV to be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 for the entire day starting at 9am and going until 9pm a large variety of board games and wargames will be tabled and available to enjoy. New Game Lounge Opening in Parkdale

It looks like Snakes & Lattes is no longer the only place in Toronto to get your board-game on.

FanExpo 2011

FanExpo begins on Thursday, August 25th and ends on Sunday, August 28th.There will be the Comic Book Expo, Sci Fi Expo, Horror Expo, Anime Expo and Gaming Expo. 

Toronto Area Gamers will be hosting several games over the weekend.

TABScon Announces Larger Location

The location of TABScon has changed - from now on it will be held at Agricola Lutheran Church at 25 Old York Mills ( in the Fellowship Hall on the lower level of the church). Click here for a Google map to the location. There's plenty of free parking in the church lot and for those coming by public transit, it's just a few minutes walk east of the York Mills Subway Station on the Yonge line. The south station is steps from the hall.

Grand opening: Snakes & Lattes Board Game Cafe

A new cafe is opening on Monday, August 29th near Bathurst & Bloor. 

This should be a great place to grab a bite to eat, a coffee, and play some boardgames.

They advertise an impressive 1500+ library of boardgames, with party games, Euro games, and traditional games included.

FanExpo Canada

Most of Toronto's board game groups will be hosting tables at FanExpo this weekend at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The boardgaming area is in Rooms 201 & 202 in the Convention Centre which is on the street level. (go through main doors on Front Street, and turn right down the main hallway) . If you are attending, stop by and play something or just say "hi". There's demo's, tournaments, open play , and more.
